2 oz bourbon
½ oz fig compote syrup (equal parts maple syrup and fig spread)
3 dashes of orange or walnut bitters
Fresh fig for garnish
Stir fig compote syrup with bourbon and bitters in a mixing glass with ice. Strain and pour into a rocks glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with a half fig.
