Paper Plane

The Paper Plane was invented in New York several years ago.  While it was created as a summer drink, like many Aperol drinks are, the bourbon brings a coziness appropriate for late winter into spring.  I picked this cocktail for valentine’s day cocktail because it was a snowy day in the peak of citrus season.  It has the balance of sweet and bitter and is not heavy like many wintery drinks can be.
